Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards has reminded supporters of his quality on Twitter, by posting a video of his highlights over the past season.

Edwards was loaned out by Tottenham to Dutch side Excelsior and the move seems to have done wonders for the attacking midfielder.

Edwards’ career had begun to stagnate at Tottenham, with question marks arising over his attitude.

However, the 20-year-old has played regularly in Holland’s top flight this campaign and he has caught the eye.

Edwards has made 25 appearances in the Eredivisie, scoring twice and claiming four assists.

He should now return to Tottenham a much more mature player this summer.

And many Spurs fans have encouraged Edwards to try and make an impact with Mauricio Pochettino’s men this summer.

Edwards was once regarded as one of Tottenham most promising youngsters, but he has not featured for Pochettino’s side since 2016.
