The 27-year-old established himself as one of the best right-backs in the Premier League during his time at Spurs.
The England international right-back has taken his game to a whole new level under manager Pep Guardiola at City.
The former Sheffield United man has been one of the best players in the Premier League and in Europe this season.
City are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 59 points from 21 matches, while Spurs are currently sixth in the standings with 37 points from 20 games.
