Tottenham Hotspur won against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at his side’s win against Newcastle United.
Spurs got the better of Newcastle 2-1 away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Eriksen started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, and the 26-year-old attacking midfielder was pleased with the final result.
A number of Tottenham fans have responded to the message from the Denmark international, urging the former Ajax star to sign a new contract with the North London outfit.
The midfielder – who earns £75,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has been linked with a move away from Spurs in the summer transfer window, with The Sun reporting that he is Real Madrid’s number one transfer target should Luka Modric move to Inter Milan.

Meanwhile, former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason has given his take on Spurs not signing a single player in the summer transfer window.
Mason said on Sky Sports News on Thursday evening (7:25pm, August 9, 2018): “I don’t think it is a problem because the gaffer doesn’t see it as a problem.”
