The Dutchman was the subject of speculation on transfer deadline day, with West Bromwich Albion, Stoke City and Brighton and Hove Albion all claimed to be interested in securing his services.
The Sun credited West Brom and Stoke with interested in the striker, while Brighton & Hove Independent has claimed that Janssen turned down a permanent move to Brighton.
Tottenham fans seem to be pleased that Janssen will remain at the club for the 2017-18 campaign, and have responded positively to his message on Twitter following the Netherlands’ failure to win against France on Thursday evening.
