Tottenham midfielder vows to battle this weekend.

Every North London derby is a ‘must win’ game for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

This weekend’s match has a little extra about it, with the two teams just four points apart in the league at a crucial stage of the season.

Spurs enter the game on the back of two successive losses, defeated by Chelsea in midweek.

Midfielder Moussa Sissoko has vowed to give everything for the Tottenham cause.

He told the club’s official website: “We have to learn from these two games and move forward.

“Now we have another opportunity, another derby at home in front of our fans and we have to make sure we play well. We will not give up.”

Sissoko has been one of Tottenham’s best players this season, and has helped negate the impact felt by the sale of Moussa Dembele.

The Frenchman has proven his doubters wrong, and a big performance against Arsenal will go further to cementing his turnaround in fortunes.

If there was a game Spurs need him to step up, this weekend is it.

Fans have responded to let Sissoko know his comments are appreciated…
