Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Renato Sanches with a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
What’s the story?
Le10 Sport have reported this month that Tottenham are interested in signing Sanches from Lille in the summer transfer window.
Spurs’ bitter North London rivals Arsenal are also interested in the Portugal international midfielder, according to 90min last month.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano has said on his Youtube channel that the 23-year-old wants to leave, and that French champions Lille themselves are willing to sell him.

As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are split over the prospect of signing Sanches this summer.
The Portugal international was rated highly when he was at Benfica.
Bayern Munich thought that they had signed a gem in 2016, but the youngster could not really make a huge impact at the German giants.
Sanches’s loan spell at Swansea City was far from great.
However, Sanches has improved a lot since he left Bayern for Lille in 2019.
The 23-year-old won the Ligue 1 title with Lille last season and did well for Portugal at Euro 2020 this summer.
The Lille no.18 scored one goal and gave three assists in 23 Ligue 1 games last season.
Sanches made two starts and two substitute appearances at Euro 2020 for Portugal.
