Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen appears to be on the hunt for a move away from White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left fuming with Christian Eriksen, after he reportedly told Mauricio Pochettino that he wanted to leave in the build-up to the Champions League final.

According to the London Evening Standard, Eriksen and Pochettino sat down before Tottenham’s match in Madrid against Liverpool, and the Dane expressed his desire for a new challenge.

Eriksen’s comments today, where he suggested he could leave Tottenham, therefore come as no surprise to Pochettino.

But Tottenham fans feel that Eriksen has been very disrespectful with his timing.

Spurs supporters now suggest that Eriksen should have been dropped for the Champions League final, and are keen for him to leave.

Eriksen played poorly in Madrid, as Spurs lost 2-0 in the Champions League final.

In truth the Dane’s form for the entirety of 2019 has been short of his best.

However, Eriksen is still one of Tottenham’s most important players and his now probable departure will come as a major blow to Pochettino’s side.
