Tottenham Hotspur Under-23 side spurned a two-goal lead on Monday.
It hasn’t been a great 24 hours for Tottenham Hotspur teams.
Mauricio Pochettino’s senior side lost 2-1 to Chelsea in their Premier League opener at Wembley on Sunday, with Marcos Alonso grabbing an 88th-minute winner.
Fast forward less than a day and Tottenham’s Under-23 side also dropped points when it seemed at least one was on offer.

Spurs lost 3-2 to their West Ham United counterparts this afternoon.
First-half goals from Dylan Duncan and highly-rated Marcus Edwards – scoring a penalty which he won – helped Wayne Burnett’s side into a 2-0 lead at the break, but second-half strikes from Dan Kemp, Nathan Holland and Josh Pask flipped the match on its head.
If there was one positive it came in the form of Edwards and team-mate Oliver Skipp, and Tottenham fans want the former to be promoted into the senior set-up by Pochettino.
Edwards was knocking on the door for a spot in the senior squad last term but it never really materialised, though he has done his chances no harm since then and, with the Carabao Cup starting for Tottenham next month, perhaps the teenage star could feature then.
