The Tottenham Hotspur hitman posted an impressive debut under Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter are liking the look of Troy Parrott.
Mauricio Pochettino gave the 17-year-old hitman his full Spurs debut in this afternoon’s International Champions Cup clash with Juventus.
Parrott, who scored 17 times in 14 Under-18 and UEFA Youth League games for Tottenham last term, started ahead of Harry Kane and offered a number of glimpses into his exciting potential during the first half.
The Irishman played a role in the North Londoners’ opener when Gigi Buffon pushed his effort toward Erik Lamela who tapped home, before Parrott then thought he had scored himself but Son Heung-min was offside in the build up.
Kane replaced the wonderkid at half time, but Lilywhites fans saw enough during the opening 45 minutes to believe that they have a gem on their hands.
The big question is Parrott good enough to earn a proper debut, in a competitive game this season?
He certainly has plenty of potential, as he demonstrated, but the Premier League is a major step-up in class from friendlies, even if it was against the Italian giants.
According to The Evening Standard, Tottenham have offered Fernando Llorente a contract, despite releasing him, and if he signs it then that’s potentially bad news for Parrott who, at best, would be Pochettino’s third-choice striker.
Pochettino’s side wound up beating the Italian champions 3-2, courtesy of goals from Lamela, Lucas and a last-minute wonder goal from Harry Kane, who replaced Parrott.
