Toby Alderweireld is due back in Tottenham Hotspur training next week.

The Belgian centre-back has been missing with a hamstring injury for over two months.
Tottenham have looked okay without him but, with a last-16 Champions League tie with Juventus on the horizon, having the 28-year-old back would be a massive boost.

The report adds that the former Atletico Madrid and Southampton man is targeting a return against Liverpool on February 4.
And fans of the North London club are understandably delighted about his imminent return to training.

As mentioned, Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t missed Alderweireld in a huge way, but having him back for Juventus is obviously great news and it strengthens Tottenham’s hopes of reaching the last eight.
It remains to be seen if Pochettino will revert to a back three with Davinson Sanchez, Jan Vertonghen and Alderweireld, or if he’ll drop the Colombian and go with the centre-half pairing in a back four which has proven top class in recent years.
