Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier started for his country at the weekend, but did not impress.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have slated Serge Aurier after he gave away a penalty for Ivory Coast against Uganda.
The Spurs man was selected to start for his country in a friendly on Saturday evening, but he did not have the best of times.
And Tottenham fans feel that Aurier’s erratic display proves that he isn’t good enough to make an impact at White Hart Lane next season.
Aurier actually appeared to start this past campaign as Tottenham’s first choice right-back in the Champions League.
However, injury came at a bad time for Aurier, and it now remains to be seen if he has any future at Spurs.

Kieran Trippier finished the campaign as Tottenham’s main right-back, but he was hardly convincing either.
Mauricio Pochettino is likely to have a full-back high on his wishlist this summer, as Spurs plan additions.
Aurier has plenty more football to play this summer, as his country begins their African Cup of Nations campaign later this month.
