Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Serge Aurier against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Aurier started for Tottenham in their Premier League game against London rivals Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It was the Ivory Coast international right-back’s first competitive appearance of the season.
Kyle Walker-Peters has seemingly established himself as the first-choice right-back at Spurs, and Aurier will have to fight for his place in the starting lineup.
The former Paris Saint-Germain star played well against Palace and was very impressive in his first outing of the season.
The 26-year-old right-back was a constant threat down the right flank for Spurs and provided the cross for Son Heung-min’s goal in the 23rd minute.
The defender was also involved in Tottenham’s goal in the 21st minute when his cross from the right wing was deflected into his own net by Patrick van Aanholt.
Tottenham fans were impressed with the performance of Aurier and have praised him on Twitter.
