Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have responded to Ryan Mason’s post on Twitter regarding Liverpool.

Former Tottenham midfielder Mason was following the Premier League game between Liverpool and Burnley at Anfield on Thursday evening.

The Englishman, who now works as a youth coach at Spurs, believes that the penalty that Liverpool conceded against the Clarets was not the right call.

Ashley Barnes was adjudged to have been tripped in the box by goalkeeper Alisson with seven minutes left on the clock, and the Burnley star himself converted the spot kick, as the visiting team won 1-0.

Some Tottenham fans have responded to Mason’s post on Twitter, as shown below:

Title race wide open

The defeat to Burnley for Liverpool has blown this season’s Premier League title race wide open.

Tottenham are seven points behind leaders Manchester United with a game in hand, while Liverpool are a point ahead of Spurs. Manchester City and Leicester City are second and third respectively.

One should not be surprised if the Premier League title this season race goes down to the wire.
