Tottenham fans respond to Roy Keane’s comments.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their views on Roy Keane’s comments that Harry Kane should be a transfer target for Manchester United.
Roy Keane told Sky Sports that he believes Kane should be a top priority transfer target for the Red Devils.
The way he said it, Keane made it sound as though it was just like walking into a shop and picking a product of a shelf.
Keane told Sky Sports’ post-game coverage of Sunday’s fixture: “Go and get Kane. Just go and get Kane from Spurs.”
Kane is on course to be a one club man, barring his early loans, and is on a long term contract at Tottenham.
Spurs may have their own issues right now over their own form, but trading a player to a rival is no way to fix it.
The financial strength of teams across the Premier League makes it harder for Manchester United to ‘just go and buy’ anybody.
