Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways in the Europa League on Thursday night, as they beat Ludogorets 3-1 in Bulgaria.

Spurs lost 1-0 away at Royal Antwerp last week, and having beaten Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday, they were looking to bounce back in Europe.

Tottenham coasted through tonight’s game, and took the lead as Harry Kane headed home Lucas Moura’s corner before the Brazilian tapped home Kane’s cross.

Ludogorets did make a first of it in the second half, as Claudiu Keseru fired home from close range after a deflected shot.

However, Son Heung-min found Giovani Lo Celso to make it 3-1, sealing Tottenham’s win in style ahead of this weekend’s trip to West Bromwich Albion.

A number of Spurs turned in strong performances, but fans chose to praise a substitute, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg coming on for Moussa Sissoko at half time.

The summer signing from Southampton has been hailed regularly since his move, and fans were lauding the Dane once again tonight.

Some called Hojbjerg ‘amazing’ and ‘the heartbeat’ of the Spurs side, adding that he was outstanding and ‘different gravy’.
