Tottenham Hotspur fans react to rumours that Arsenal are ready to sign a superstar.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to rumours that Arsenal could sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this month.
Respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague reported via his YouTube channel on Sunday that the Gunners were “very confident” that their £53 million bid would be successful.
The Borussia Dortmund marksman would be coming in to replace Alexis Sanchez, who is expected to join one of the Manchester giants before the transfer window shuts.

Aubameyang, dropped by Dortmund at the weekend for disciplinarian reasons, has netted 21 times in 23 starts for the Signal Iduna Park club this season.
And some Tottenham fans admit that they wouldn’t be happy to see their North London rivals sign him.

Aubameyang wouldn’t be a like for like replacement for the Chilean, because they are very different players, but it would perhaps indicate that under-pressure Arsene Wenger would re-model Arsenal’s attack and surely that can only be a good thing, given their goalscoring woes and form.
Of course, Tottenham have no need for a goalscorer like Aubameyang, given the fact that they have Harry Kane, but you can understand why some Spurs supporters don’t want him on the red half of North London.
The Gabon international is a serious talent and one who can only improve the Gunners.
