The Tottenham Hotspur loanee impressed on international duty on Friday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have expressed their interest in seeing Pau Lopez re-signed for next season.
The 22-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Tottenham from Espanyol, was in fine form for Spain Under-21s on Friday as he helped La Roja to a 1-0 win over Serbia in Poland during Euro 2017.

It was reported by Sport earlier this month that Spurs had pulled the plug on a £6 million deal for Lopez, who did not play a single game for the Lilywhites last term after failing to dislodge Michel Vorm as Hugo Lloris’s back-up option.
Nevertheless, fans of the North London club were loving what they saw on Friday night.

There is no doubt that Lopez is a talented goalkeeper, but £6 million represents a lot of money for a man who did not kick a ball for Tottenham last season.
Perhaps things might be different next term, if his loan were to become permanent, but his performance for Spain Under-21s is unlikely to prompt chairman Daniel Levy to do a u-turn on the kid.
