Bale was sold to Real Madrid months later, clinching his dream move.
Six years on and Bale is still scoring spectacular goals, most impressively in the 2018 Champions League final against Liverpool.
Last night he was on target for Real Madrid in their win over Levante, scoring the winner, after coming off the bench.
He has been linked with an exit from Real recently, with Marca reporting the Spanish giants could look to swap him with Tottenham for Christian Eriksen.
