Tottenham Hotspur drew in Nuno Espirito Santo’s first game in charge on Saturday, with Nile John shining in a 1-1 draw at Leyton Orient.
Spurs took a first-half lead as Dane Scarlett continued to show his huge potential by opening the scoring.
Orient hit back in the second half though, with Ruel Sotiriou snatching a draw for the League Two side.
Nuno won’t be too concerned, and nor should he be; many of his key players aren’t back with the club yet, and he was forced to use a number of young players.
One of them was John, who was handed a start by Nuno having made an impression in the early stages of Tottenham’s pre-season preparations.
The 18-year-old midfielder made his first-team debut in the Europa League last season and may now look for more senior action this coming season.

Tottenham fans have been hailing John on Twitter after his display against Leyton Orient, suggesting that he is going straight to the top of the game.
Others joked that he would walk into the Arsenal side, and called on Nuno to start him in the Premier League this coming season.
