Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham are interested in signing Pope from Premier League rivals Burnley.

It has been reported that Spurs are keeping tabs on the 26-year-old goalkeeper and want to sign him to provide competition for first-choice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation regarding Pope – who earns £15,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com.

Pope is a very good goalkeeper, and given that he is only 26 years of age, his best years are ahead of him.

The England international has fallen down the pecking order at Burnley, and although he would struggle to get games at Tottenham, leaving the Clarets for the North London would be a step up for him, and working with manager Mauricio Pochettino would also make him better in the coming years.
