Tottenham Hotspur ran out comfortable winners at Wembley on Saturday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left confused, after Mauricio Pochettino told Football.London that his side’s performance against Chelsea wasn’t their best of the season.

Tottenham dominated against Chelsea and ran out 3-1 winners in the London derby.

Spurs could actually have won by an even greater margin if they had been more clinical in front of goal.

But Pochettino felt that Spurs had actually played better on occasions this season.

He said: “I don’t believe it was the best we’ve been this season. The performance was good but I don’t believe it was the best.”

The comments left Tottenham fans confused, as they felt that their side had put in their best performance for months against Chelsea.

Tottenham did win 3-0 against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier in the campaign, and their performance in the contest was also hugely impressive.

But Spurs were absolutely dominant against Chelsea, as they picked up three points and moved into third place in the Premier League table.
