Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has just signed a new long-term deal at the club.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have found Mauricio Pochettino’s comments about Moussa Sissoko’s contract extension very odd.
Sissoko was handed a new four year deal at Tottenham this week, with the midfielder’s future now secured.
But the Tottenham boss didn’t exactly take the opportunity, as he played down his happiness at tying down the Frenchman to a new contract.
“It was a decision between the player and the club,” Pochettino simply said.
Tottenham fans were taken aback by Pochettino’s decision to bat away the importance of Sissoko saying.
And some Spurs fans think that Pochettino’s attitude shows he was keener for other players in his squad to be offered new terms before Sissoko.
Tottenham are fighting to keep the likes of Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen at the club currently.
The trio all have under a year left on their contracts, and Spurs may hope that they follow Sissoko by penning new deals sooner rather than later.
