Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino spoke of ‘difficult circumstances’ on Saturday evening.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are not best pleased with Mauricio Pochettino’s comments to Football London, which look very ambiguous.
Tottenham managed to pick up a 2-2 draw with Manchester City at the weekend, even though they were on the back foot for much of the contest.
In his press conference after, Spurs boss Pochettino was still fairly spiky, despite the positive result.
And one answer caught the eye of Tottenham supporters.
“I don’t know if people realise or not. I don’t care. Only that the circumstances are not the best & the challenge is massive,” he said.
“So happy because the will of the players, their commitment & with all the circumstances we’re trying to get a good result.”
Spurs fans are confused why Pochettino has suggested that the ‘circumstances are not the best’, despite the club spending heavily in the summer.
Tottenham brought in both Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso for big money, and Spurs fans are confused over why Pochettino is still sounding frustrated.
Tottenham have now collected four points from their opening two matches this season.
Spurs are next in action at the weekend when they take on Newcastle United.
