Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Luke Shaw has signed a new contract with Manchester United.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Luke Shaw signing a new contract at Manchester United.
As announced on United’s official Twitter page on Thursday, Shaw has put pen to paper on a new contract with Jose Mourinho’s United.
According to The Sun, the 23-year-old left-back will earn £190,000 per week as salary at the Red Devils.
The Sun reported last month of Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino’s interest in signing Shaw in the summer of 2019.
However, with the England international defender signing a new contract with United, it seems that Spurs’ chances of securing the services of Shaw is gone.
Shaw worked with current Tottenham manager Pochettino at Premier League club Southampton, and is a hugely talented and promising young left-back.
