Tottenham Hotspur have secured their place in next season’s Europa League after a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace this afternoon.

Spurs put themselves in a strong position after a fine run of form under Jose Mourinho, and were looking to finish off the job.

Harry Kane continued his outstanding form, scoring with a superb finish from Giovani Lo Celso’s first-half pass.

That’s now five goals in the last three games for Kane, and Spurs fans will be hoping to see him take that form into next season.

However, Spurs couldn’t claim the win, with Jeffrey Schlupp bagging an equaliser for Palace to earn a 1-1 draw.

Spurs finish in sixth place, ahead of Wolves on goal difference whilst also finishing three points ahead of rivals Arsenal.

It was far from a classic performance, but Spurs fans heaped praise on winger Lucas Moura, who enjoyed a strong afternoon at Selhurst Park.

Fans suggested that Moura was ‘brilliant’ and ‘the standout’ in the Spurs side, praising him for how important he has now become under Mourinho.

Others predicted big things for next season, suggesting that he will be ‘on fire’ and ‘amazing’ next term after strong displays following football’s restart.
