Tottenham Hotspur fans are reacting on Twitter to Lucas Moura’s Manchester City display.

The Brazilian winger had enjoyed a bright start to the new campaign, scoring four goals in 13 games before Monday night’s visit of the reigning champions.

But he was unable to add to that tally at Wembley, where Tottenham suffered a 1-0 defeat courtesy of Riyad Mahrez’s early strike.

Sunday’s NFL fixture left behind a difficult playing surface and Moura in particular appeared to struggle – failing to register a single shot or key pass for the first time all season in the Premier League [Who Scored].

Not all Spurs fans agree, however…

Moura, who moved to Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain in January for a reported fee of £25 million, had already angered some Spurs supporters after pledging his allegiance to Jair Bolsonaro, the far-right president-elect of Brazil.
