The wait goes on for Tottenham.
Tottenham Hotspur fans must continue to wait for two of their new signings to return to action.
The club posted an injury update this morning, confirming Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso were both undergoing rehab as they work towards full fitness.
In the case of Lo Celso it isn’t so surprising. He suffered an injury at the start of this month which was due to keep him out for several weeks.
Sessegnon is a more frustrating situation. Spurs had hoped he might be ready to make his debut in the Carabao Cup this week against Colchester.
Spurs ere eliminated, with Sessegnon missing out. Now it seems there is still no injury date set.
With the first team struggling for form, its a frustrating situation.
The new signings could provide Spurs with the boost they badly need, and more invention in attack.
