Tottenham Hotspur sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid this summer.

Tottenham sold Trippier to Atletico Madrid for £20 million in the summer (BBC Sport), after his form dipped last term.
The England international has gone on to make a very bright start in Spain, and he claims Mauricio Pochettino sold him at the wrong time.
“Tottenham probably got rid of me at the wrong time because I just needed that four-week rest for recovery, because I was struggling with injuries, to come back fresh and ready,” he said.
“So, maybe I could have stayed, but I’ve got no regrets. I’m at Atletico now and I’m just looking to the future.”
The comments have drawn a mixed reaction from Spurs fans, with Trippier being fairly vocal about his exit from Hotspur Way since he left.
While there are some Tottenham fans who think that Trippier should have stayed, others are questioning why he is taking to the press so often.
Regardless of whether Trippier was good enough to stay at Spurs for another year, his departure has left them short at right-back.
Spurs have very limited options in the position, especially with Kyle Walker-Peters and Juan Foyth both out injured.
Spurs were forced to play Davinson Sanchez at right-back in the North London Derby at the weekend, and the Colombian struggled in a new position.
Trippier, meanwhile, appears to have a real chance of winning the La Liga title with Atleti this term, with Diego Simeone’s side starting the season well.
