Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Kieran Trippier against Manchester United.
Trippier featured for Tottenham in their Premier League game against United at Wembley Stadium on Sunday evening.
The 28-year-old defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost 1-0.
The right-back did not have a good game on a personal level and was responsible for the goal that the Red Devils scored.
The England international struggled at the back and made some errors, and it was an evening to forget for him.
According to WhoScored, Trippier – who can also operate as a right wing-back – had a pass accuracy of 85.7%, won one header, made four tackles and two clearances, and played three key passes against United.
Trippier has made 17 appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Tottenham fans were not happy with the performance produced by Trippier against United and have criticised him on Twitter.
