And fans of the North London club seem desperate for Mauricio Pochettino to make the move happen.
Signing him ahead of Chelsea could be difficult if the Blues are really interested. Then again, Tottenham might just be the more attractive proposition for a young player these days.
Pochettino has proven himself an excellent manager with regard to developing young talent and surely Maddison would be quite taken with the prospect of working under the Argentine.
