Heung-Min Son had a great chance to score during Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat to the Premier League leaders on Sunday.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have shown their appreciation towards Heung-Min Son after he looked distraught after the full-time whistle was blown at Anfield on Sunday.
With Spurs players being criticised left, right and centre. With Spurs players being questioned for their desire, the Spurs faithful were grateful that Son was hurting just like they were.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side opened the scoring at Anfield, and Son should have doubled his side’s lead but his effort ended up hitting the woodwork.
Jurgen Klopp’s side then went on to punish their opponents and walk away with the three points, with Son looking distraught at full-time.
Tottenham’s fans stated that they are lucky to have a player like Son, whose desire has never been questioned, as he is a player who has always given his all to the club.
Whilst Son would have felt that he missed the chance to win the points for his side, Spurs fans are just pleased that there is at least one player they can rely on.
The South Korea international has been a bit of an unsung hero for Tottenham, as it could be argued that he is Pochettino’s most important player.
One thing is for sure, whether it be a big game, whether he is filling in Harry Kane’s shoes when he has been injured, Son has always delivered for the club.
