Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Harry Winks display against Manchester City

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Harry Winks against Manchester City.

Winks featured for Tottenham in their Premier League game against City away from home at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday evening.

The 23-year-old England international midfielder started the match and played for 56 minutes, when Lucas Moura replaced him.

The youngster was not flashy or showing in the middle of the park, and his passes were not quite cutting or crips.

According to WhoScored, Winks had a pass accuracy of 91.7%, took 56 touches, made two clearances and blocked one shot.

Tottenham fans were not impressed with the performance of Winks against City and have criticised him on Twitter.

Tottenham were not particularly great against City, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be pleased with the point that they have gained at the Etihad Stadium.

City are arguably the best team in England, and picking up a point at the home ground of the Premier League champions is not easy.

The result will boost Tottenham’s confidence of challenging Liverpool and City for the Premier League title this season.
