Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been one of the world’s top strikers over the last six years – but he remains without a trophy.

Kane has racked up 215 goals in 327 games for Tottenham, becoming a hero having come up through the Spurs ranks.

This term, Kane has been outstanding with 27 goals and 16 assists in all competitions, showing off his ability as a creator as well as a goalscorer.

Spurs crashed out of the Europa League with an embarrassing defeat to Dinamo Zagreb, and have faded well out of contention for the Premier League title.

Kane could still win the Carabao Cup, but that would require beating Manchester City in the final, so there are no guarantees that he will finally land a first piece of silverware.

David Ornstein recently suggested that Kane would like to leave Tottenham, but whether anybody can afford to sign him remains to be seen.

Kane has now commented on his future, telling the Daily Mail that he can’t think about speculation right now, but will tackle his situation in the summer and see what happens.

That’s pretty non-committal from the 27-year-old, and it’s got Spurs fans worrying that Kane is now priming himself to leave Tottenham.

Fans have been taking to Twitter to react to Kane’s comments, believing that he has hinted he will be leaving this summer – and few can blame him based on a perceived lack of ambition.
