Harry Kane could make a swift return for Tottenham, even potentially returning for the FA Cup semi final.
Tottenham Hotspur are feeling positive about Harry Kane’s injury, with the club issuing a statement on Tuesday evening.
Kane suffered an injury against Millwall in the FA Cup which threatened to rule him out for the season, but the club are hopeful this will not happen.
It is the second ankle injury suffered by Kane this season, with the first keeping him out six weeks, and Tottenham are confident this one is less severe.
This puts Kane in the frame to feature against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi final at Wembley on April 22, and you would not bet against him being back in time.
Kane returned ahead of schedule last time around, coming back in the North London derby against Arsenal in which he scored.
The two teams meet on April 30, and the two games are matches Kane will be desperate to return for.
Spurs fans are understandably hopeful after the club’s update. Here is a look at how they reacted on Twitter…
