Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with a whole host of strikers, and a new name has emerged this week.
Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius has been linked of late, but it’s his teammate Haris Seferovic suddenly emerging as a possible Tottenham target.
TVI24 in Portugal report that Tottenham made a loan approach for Seferovic, but he rejected the move to North London.
Record add that Seferovic is a top target for Jose Mourinho, having missed out on a number of his previous targets to support Harry Kane.
The 28-year-old managed just five league goals last season, which won’t exactly fill fans with confidence.
In fact, his record across his career is generally disappointing, though Mourinho may be attracted by his size and work rate.

Tottenham fans have been taking to Twitter to urge the club not to make a move, branding Seferovic ‘terrible’.
Others suggested that he is ‘very average’, and definitely isn’t good enough to be a source of goals for Tottenham this season.
