Tottenham Hotspur are linked to the 22-year-old striker.
Tottenham Hotspur are, according to The Mirror, weighing up a move for Genoa attacker Giovanni Simeone.
The 22-year-old has emerged as something of a hot prospect after scoring 12 goals in Italy’s top flight for the Serie A outfit last season.
But although Tottenham are “interested”, The Mirror goes on to claim that Mauricio Pochettino – who played with his father, ex-Spurs midfielder Diego Simeone, for Argentina – has not yet made a move for the young striker.

It has been a very frustrating transfer window for the Lilywhites’ fanbase who have seen their beloeved Spurs sign nobody so far this summer.
And while some fans of the North London club are happy enough with this rumour, others are underwhelmed.
Pochettino doesn’t need a striker as much as he needs options in other positions, given Harry Kane is something of a goalscoring phenom, but the England international will need back-up and, as we saw last season, Vincent Janssen isn’t fit to lace his boots.
