The £25 million winger (BBC Sport) has only really shown his quality in patches even when he is fit.
Mauricio Pochettino is known to be a big fan of Lamela, but if Spurs do bring in some attacking additions this summer it is difficult to see him becoming a regular in Tottenham’s line-up.
