Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Erik Lamela display against Fulham

Tottenham Hotspur won against Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Erik Lamela against Fulham in the London derby.

Lamela, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, featured for Tottenham in their Premier League game against Fulham at Craven Cottage in London on Sunday evening.

The 26-year-old started the match and played for 79 minutes, as Spurs won the match 2-1.

The Argentina international took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 88.2%, and made two tackles and one interception, according to WhoScored.

Lamela did work hard, but the Argentine lacked creativity and failed to have a major impact on the match.

Tottenham fans were not impressed with the performance of the River Plate and the AS Roma star against Fulham and have criticised him on Twitter.

The win against Fulham means that Tottenham remain third in the Premier League table with 51 points from 23 matches, nine points behind leaders Liverpool.

Spurs will return to action on Thursday evening when they take on London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the EFL Cup semi-final tie.
