Tottenham Hotspur smashed Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur bounced back from a disappointing couple of weeks with a superb 3-0 win at big-spending Everton on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs travelled to Merseyside on the back of a 1-1 draw with Burnley, in which Chris Wood grabbed a 93rd-minute equaliser, having previously lost 2-1 to Chelsea at Wembley.
But there were no signs of scarring from Mauricio Pochettino’s side who put Everton to the sword at Goodison Park yesterday, with Christian Eriksen and a Harry Kane brace doing the damage for the North Londoners.

Part of the reason why it was such a comfortable afternoon for Tottenham was Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and, of course, Davinson Sanchez in defence.
The 21-year-old Colombian, making his debut following a £42 million move from Ajax, looked a class act on his Spurs bow and fans of the Lilywhites were left raving about him on Twitter afterwards.

The South American managed to win six aerial challenges, five interceptions and clocked a 93% passing accuracy. As far as debuts go, it couldn’t have gone a whole lot better for Sanchez.
