Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keen on snapping up Dani Alves on a free transfer.

According to the Transfer Window Podcast, Tottenham Hotspur have made contact over Dani Alves.
Alves is a free agent, and Spurs are said to have made contact with the right-back over a potential move.
Journalist Duncan Castles said: “I understand that there’s been contact with Tottenham Hotspur about the possibility of Dani moving there in what would seem quite a strange addition for Tottenham, given that this is a club that’s focused on younger players, players whose value will increase, players they can get on reasonably cheap salaries.”
The idea of Alves coming to Tottenham has gone down well with supporters of the North London club.
Alves is 36, but still seems to have plenty left in the tank, after a wonderful Copa America with Brazil.
And Tottenham supporters think that bringing Alves in would be an excellent way to solve their problems at right-back.
If Alves did come in at Spurs he would surely step straight into their starting line-up.
Tottenham currently have three options on the right hand side of defence, in the form of Kieran Trippier, Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters, but question marks linger over the trio.
