Tottenham Hotspur fans have got to know the name Dane Scarlett in recent weeks, and he continues to make strides.
Jose Mourinho took the bold step of naming Scarlett on the bench to take on Ludogorets in the Europa League last month, at the age of just 16.
Scarlett came on as a substitute, becoming Tottenham’s youngest ever player to appear in a competitive first-team game.
The teenager will be looking to follow in the footsteps of Harry Kane by becoming a Tottenham hero after emerging through the youth ranks, and fans will have been impressed with his exploits on Saturday.
Scarlett was in the Tottenham Under-18 side to take on Crystal Palace, and he certainly played his part in a thumping 5-1 win.
Scarlett smashed a hat-trick, once again showing his ability in front of goal as he took his tally for the season to 13 goals in 10 games.

Add in that he also has three assists, and Scarlett is in blistering form – leading to huge praise from Spurs fans on Twitter.
Some called him a ‘future star’ and predicted that he will be a superstar for Tottenham, adding that he is too good at 16 having scored another hat-trick.
