Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Christian Eriksen performance against Red Star Belgrade

Christian Eriksen did not start for Tottenham Hotspur against Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have suggested on Twitter that Christian Eriksen should not be included in the starting lineup.

Eriksen did not start for Tottenham in their Champions League Group B game against Red Star Belgrade on Wednesday evening.

The 27-year-old Denmark international midfielder came on as a substitute in the 62nd minute, as the North London outfit won 4-0.

The former Ajax created a chance for Harry Kane after coming on and also scored.

According to WhoScored, Eriksen took two shots and both were on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 70.6%, and took 23 touches.

Eriksen has made seven starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

Some Tottenham fans were not impressed with Eriksen’s performance, and do not think that he should start in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side for the time being.
