And, with frustrations rising, Tottenham left-back Davies has taken a battering on social media.
The Welshman failed to impress in Italy, with his performance well short of his best.
Davies was guilty of giving the ball away on numerous occasions, and his touch looked off throughout the contest.
It has left Spurs fans wanting Danny Rose to replace him, and there are question marks over whether Davies is good enough for them.
Davies was actually one of Tottenham’s most improved players last term, but he has struggled this season.
Spurs have now lost three matches on the bounce for the first time in Pochettino’s spell in charge.
