Tottenham Hotspur hammered Crvena zvezda 5-0 on Tuesday night.

Tottenham Hotspur claimed a morale-boosting 5-0 win over Crvena zvezda of Serbia on Tuesday night, with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min among the goals.
Spurs needed a big performance after a disappointing 1-1 draw against Watford on Saturday afternoon, and Mauricio Pochettino certainly got that.
Kane headed home Erik Lamela’s corner to make it 1-0, before Lamela crossed for Son to fire the second into the roof of the net from close range.
Tanguy Ndombele set up Son for number three, slotting past Milan Borjan, and Lamela got his name on the scoresheet with a nice finish from Serge Aurier’s pass in the second half.
Kane rounded off the scoring with a fifth in the second half, giving Spurs a resounding win and the kind of convincing victory that they have needed after some tricky results.
A number of players have put themselves into Pochettino’s thinking for Sunday’s trip to Liverpool, and Ben Davies is certainly one of those.

The Welsh left back came in for Danny Rose last night, and had made just three starts in all competitions before tonight, meaning he was given a real opportunity to impress.
He certainly did that, with many believing he should now keep his place ahead of Rose, with praise for his defensive play whilst helping Jan Vertonghen at the back.
Others called him ‘outstanding’, ‘elite’ and ‘underrated’, meaning Pochettino now has a big decision to make that visit to Anfield, as Davies or Rose will have to cope with Mo Salah.
