Tottenham Hotspur left-back Ben Davies has come under fire for his performance against PSV Eindhoven last night.

Davies was selected to start in the Champions League contest, but he didn’t do enough to convince Tottenham fans of his quality.

The Welshman struggled to make an impact on the match, as Spurs disappointingly picked up a 2-2 draw.

And Tottenham fans have let rip at Davies on social media website Twitter.

Spurs fell behind early on against PSV when Hirving Lozano found the back of the net, but it seemed as if they had turned things around.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side scored through Lucas Moura and Harry Kane, but things went from bad to worse in the final 10 minutes.

Tottenham had goalkeeper Hugo Lloris sent off, before PSV struck a late leveller.

Tottenham now look almost certain to exit the Champions League at the group stage, unless they win all their remaining matches.
