Barcelona-owned Everton midfielder Andre Gomes, reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur, played well against Arsenal on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Barcelona-owned Everton central midfielder Andre Gomes against Arsenal.
Gomes, signed on a season-long loan deal from Spanish and European giants Barcelona in the summer of 2018, was in action for Everton in their Premier League game against Arsenal at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.
The 25-year-old central midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Toffees won 1-0.
The Portugal international was superb for Everton, as he dominated proceedings in the middle of the park, helped out his defence and drove his team forward.
According to WhoScored, against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, Gomes took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 89.5%, won one header, made two tackles and one clearance, and played one key pass.
A report in The Telegraph this month claimed that Tottenham are interested in signing Gomes from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is willing to sanction a £30 million move for the Portugal international.
Tottenham fans were impressed with the display produced by Gomes for Everton against Barcelona and wants him signed in the summer transfer window.
