Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for defensive reinforcements this summer – and a new left back could be an option.
Jose Mourinho seems to trust Ben Davies, but he’s endured injury issues. Danny Rose is scheduled to return from Newcastle United this summer, but won’t have a future at the club.
Japhet Tanganga isn’t a natural there, and Ryan Sessegnon is viewed as a winger right now – even if Mourinho thinks he can have a huge future as a left back.
A host of options have been suggested, and the latest is Juventus star Alex Sandro. Tuttomercatoweb claim that the two clubs are discussing potential swap deals ahead of the summer.
One deal would be Rose for Mattia De Sciglio, whilst another would see Serge Aurier head to Italy in exchange for Brazilian ace Alex Sandro.
The former Porto man has been one of the top left backs in Europe in recent times. Now 29, Juve may feel that they can let him go and move on to the future.

Sandro would certainly provide an upgrade at left back for Spurs. Unsurprisingly, fans appear keen on the move.
Supporters have taken to Twitter to suggest that’s ‘too good to be true’, as Sandro would be such a great signing.
Others think Daniel Levy wouldn’t pull the trigger on such a move, even if fans are begging for the deal to go through…
