According to Record, Tottenham are interested in signing Grimaldo from Portuguese giants Benfica in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the Portuguese publication that Spurs have allocated €30 million (£26.34m) in order to secure the services of the 22-year-old left-back as a potential replacement for England international Danny Rose.
Grimaldo is a very talented and promising young left-back who would be a good long-term signing for Benfica in the summer transfer window.
The former Spain Under-21 international left-back has won the Primeira Liga title twice with Benfica, and the UEFA European Under-19 Championship with Spain in 2012 among other major trophies.
