Tottenham Hotspur fans feel that Yaya Toure could be a good addition to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have suggested that Yaya Toure could be Daniel Levy’s dream signing this summer.
Toure is now a free agent, after being released by Manchester City, and the Ivorian’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, told Sport24, that his client would play for a top six Premier League side for just £1 a week next term to prove a point.
Tottenham fans now believe that it could be worth bringing in Toure, as he could prove to be a bargain.
“Yaya has received many offers from different countries, big money offers, but we have decided to devote the next season to Guardiola,” Seluk said.
“To proving to the Manchester City fans that Yaya is not finished with football. He is full of strength and energy and wants to play in England this season.
“At a time when English clubs are spending huge sums of money on players, I officially declare that Yaya is ready to move to any top-six English club as a free agent with a salary of £1 per week. As long as a success-based bonus system is in place.”

Whether the words will be enough to convince Mauricio Pochettino to make a move for Toure remains to be seen.
Spurs’ transfer policy has generally focused on bringing younger players to the club, rather than ageing veterans.
However, Tottenham fans largely appear behind the idea of Toure joining, and they certainly think it could please Levy, who famously loves a bargain.
Tottenham are set to strengthen in central midfield this summer, as they could face a number of departures in that area.
The futures of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama are not certain, and if either of the pair leaves, then Pochettino’s options would be short in midfield, unless he makes additions.
