Tottenham striker seems to have no luck.
Vincent Janssen can’t seem to catch a break at Tottenham.
After bouncing back from a foot injury which kept him sidelined for most of 2018, he won over Mauricio Pochettino with his performances for the under-23s in January.
The Evening Standard reported this week that Janssen is back in the club’s Premier League squad.
He will not however be making his return this weekend.
Janssen featured on Tottenham’s latest injury report, with the club confirming he has a knee problem. The severity of it is unclear.
It was a piece of bad news for the striker, even though the overall injury update is positive.
Harry Kane and Dele Alli are back training although are unlikely to be considered this weekend.
Janssen is Tottenham’s third choice striker and is running out of time to prove his worth before Kane returns.
